"If you are pissed that quarantine is still a thing, imagine waiting 400 years for something to be over and there's still no end in sight" - Natasha Rothwell
In light of May Jewels and everything going on in the world right now, I thought it would be a good idea to share 5 black owned instagram businesses, that I love and we should all support. The death of George Floyd has had a massive impact on everyone in the world, causing a humongous backlash onto the police and law enforcements, who's jobs are to make members of our society feel safe. As a young, white girl I am privileged; privileged to have lived the life I have, with endless opportunities and never a question of my ability, due to to the colour of my skin. It is our job to know how to educate ourselves; I am reading a book called 'Why I'm No Longer Talking to - White People About Race' written by Reni Eddo - Lodge. I have already learnt so much more about the history of black people in Britain. Did you know that Black History Month wasn't founded until 1987?
